Reviews for "Empty Asylum"

Puzzles were easy to solve with the available clues. Thanks to the walk through, I missed a jammed drawer, a puzzle box, and a torch.

I suggest that a map and a torch should be provided at the very beginning. Who would go inside an asylum with empty hands? The orbit collection part could be removed.

For the most part, this game was a lot of pixel hunting. I also didn't understand the MATH puzzle, but that's on me. Nice job with the creepy ghosts in the dark rooms though. They're just off-putting enough to make me think there's an enemy when there's not.

When I saw this I thought alright a scare game with touch, rock on. but as soon I started playing it I just couldn't get into it at all. I felt like I was being limited with every move I made, and the pictures of the house are just normal every day stuff that I seen in normal life when traveler around the world. Sorry this just ain't that good of a game.

selfdefiant responds:

I feel sorry for you if you see this kind of stuff every day when you walk around. This place is an asylum, do you know what an asylum is?

The piano/math puzzle is interesting, but that's pretty much about it, rest of the game is just a lot of pixel hunting for hidden keys and gems. The small safe box in the trycicle room has no clues for what the number is...had to resort to walkthrough on that one.

For anyone interested on how the piano/math puzzle works:
In one room, there is a blackboard that points out that A = Square-root of 16, which means A = 4. The book that gives you a key among other hints, give you a sequence like 584-76-597. If you look at the piano keys, they are arranged in a sequence like this D E F G A B C. If you put A as the value 4 and go incrementing one by each letter, B = 5, C = 6, D = 7 and so forth, meaning the sequence 584-76-597 equals to BEA-DC-BFD in piano keys.

This game is really bad. There is no logic or story behind this game, it's a bunch of random clicking on 140p .jpeg images and hoping something opens up. It's also not "creepy" at all. By the way, I'm pretty sure Sherlock Holmes would've got stuck on lock box, since the solution to the code is nowhere to be found.
