Reviews for "Game Corp"

THIS WAS AN AWESOME GAME!!! i dont know why but i cant give it a star review but 4.5 stars for sure

This is a really fun game. I spent a good amount of time on it and was definitely entertained. The bugs didn't bother me much since I just had to restart the game to fix anything. It has a very solid, core idea, which is executed pretty well. However, there are some details that are missing, and they prevent the game from being really great.

1. The interface... Once the studio has enough people to make a large game, clicking through on all the icons is just a pain. There really isn't any reason to pick someone to do something outside of their specialization, so this process should be streamlined so that I can pick people for the job they specialize in without having to put them in a job scantron style. Once someone is specializing in something, that is their job, and I shouldn't have to assign them to it every single time.

1a. Also, there is no way (at least that I could find) to go back to the main screen without refreshing the page. This isn't too big of a deal, but if I want to clear my save, it would be nice to not have to sit through the ad and the somewhat long dhgames screen. Perhaps this was on purpose?

1b. I also thought that a panel where I could see all my workers at once would have been nice. This would have been important for when I hired new people and trained them. I wasn't sure what I needed because I couldn't see a whole list of all the workers at once.

2. Once I got to the last city, I couldn't hire any more people after a while, but Walve was still getting the largest studio award. Unless I can some how affect the other studios budget for workers by running them out of business, this is a real problem, because it means I can get every single other award, but I can't do anything to get the last one, so I can't reach the "Get All Awards" goal.

3. All the names of the workers are male names. This is a very small detail that doesn't mean much to gameplay, but it would have been nice to see a few female names, since there are females in the industry.

Overall, a very fun game, that just needs a few more things make it great. There are larger dynamics that could be cool (a reputation system for your studio ie. more people buy games or don't depending on whether or not they like you as a studio, gaming trends that give incentive to make certain kinds of games, dealing with piracy perhaps...) but I wanted to focus on small things that still fit in with the current core game play.

Once again, fun game, good job.

Really good game. Reminds me of "The Movies" but a lot faster (which is good) the only problem I have with the game is that you can't spin objects but that's a minor issue and the only one I had. Overall great game and I think a sequel would be great with new improvements and animations.

Great Game.

The game i was waiting for, and it's perfect!!
I just love it! It really deserve a sequel.
