Reviews for "Incredipede - World 1"

its diffrent, but its its extremely good, and hard at the same time,if i could ten stars great job sarahnorthway

this game deserves five stars for sure. although the game may be infuriating at times its only cause it is so well made :) the graphics are simple but wonderfully unique and well done to a point that the simplicity of them makes them look very high detail and complex. well done. the concept of muscles and bones was very well thought out and i definitely wanna see more of this game. the only possible suggestion i would have is maybe a wider sound track but seeing how this isn't the full game u might have already handled that. all in all 5 stars. i hope you make it to steam i know ill be buying ur game on there if i ever see it. good job man

Epic! I love it, great physics and a fun game. Reminds me az little of Patapon somehow :D

Neat game. As mentioned before it is a tiny bit similar to TriAchnid, so who knows, maybe Sarah did get some inspiration from TriAchnid, but that is only in the sense that there are limbs involved. This game focuses on how you build the limbs and where muscles are placed in order to get all the fruit and get to the end as quickly as possible and using the least amount of limbs. The way muscles are placed and controlled actually reminds me of ToriBash a lot, but this and that are completely different animals going for completely different goals.

Review:
The Good: The game is very well put together and its fun to solve the puzzles because unlike most puzzle-like games, there are multiple correct solutions. Just cause you did it once doesn't mean you can't go back and do it better.

The Bad: I do notice two odd things in the game though. First off, there is no apostrophe in "Please Dont Fall" as far as i can see (perhaps its the font and its just too small though). Also, on "Please Dont fall" the limbs can get a bit contorted and cause of this you may "float" a bit while falling. The price may also keep some players away from the full version.

All in all, its a good game and the minor issues and price of the game is easily overlooked when you note the time and effort already put in to making this game as realistic (physics wise) as can be.

sarahnorthway responds:

Thanks so much for your thoughtful review. The TriAchnid similarity is just a coincidence, but Colin (who designed the gameplay) loved and played ToriBash to death, so it was definitely an inspiration for Incredipede.

This is like Spore!..Awesome!
