Reviews for "Old Lounge Escape"

Let me first say, I do not like "escape" games. Every time I play one I feel like I am just clicking furiously on everything just to find another clue or key or wrench or some other stupid MacGuyver-esque tool. This one was no different. Not sure how coffee machines can hold the secret code. There was a serious lack of story. Why was I in this swanky pool hall diner? Why didn't I just pick up a stool and break the window? Who is charging me 2 coins to exit this crazy place?!

The graphics were okay, some spots could use some work. The bathrooms were insanely bright. The game overall, though, was kind of boring. There is no music and no back story. Just some random guy or gal stuck inside of a bar/diner/pool hall.

Simple to solve. But what i liked less is that you can focus on different areas that are completely useless for the puzzle solution. (like on the pool hole, or under tables)

That was nice and simple. No need for to read walkthrough.

Technically it's functional, but there is absolutely no logic to anything in this game at all. The closest it comes is when you use the magnet to get one of the coins.

For those who are stuck, in order to find the third cup you need to use the film reel on the picture, for some reason, and that reveals the code for the tumblers above the vending machine that has the key in the grate at the bottom.

Interesting game... minus there is no audio at all.

It's rather dull somewhat, but at the same time... slightly interesting, even though I ended up clicking all over the screen just to find some things.

I'm sorry, but this game just doesn't seem to have potential.
