Reviews for "Why Am I Dead"

Damn good game. Love the core gameplay thing of needing different people to get different answers. Simple but with potential.
Also, to MrTheJazz below me (kind of spoilers): Yeah, that wasn't an alternate ending, the cop mentions that they thought there was a serial killer at the hotel, he just wasn't the one who killed the owner, you're just meant to figure that out, but it's not key to the story.
It's probably also why when possessing Ted you can ask the her out, possibly he was figuring out how to get rid of her. A nice little background story going on.

Simply amazing. The ending was pretty suprising. The fact that (Spoiler) was actually (spoiler) and (spoiler) was just trying to find the murderer to find out (spoiler) was cool. Nice game, maybe you could make another murder-mystery game.

EPIC, puzzling and fun! I noticed at least 1other person agreed that this game could have been longer, i almost suspected Cricket from the start, and i was right! Anyway there needs to be more storyline! I'd like to see Randy battling Cricket to find out how to clear his name!(too much exclamtion!?!? too bad!!)

Awesome game! Love when I find an original platform on here.

I just have two questions:

**SPOILER** **SPOILER** **SPOILER** **SPOILER**
So, at the end when you find out that Cricket is the business partner, and Lucille is the undercover cop, that means that there is still a serial killer on the loose, right? And if we listen to the dialogue, it's Ted that's the killer (due to what Lucille and the little girl say to him). I was wondering if I understood that right.

Also, I can't get "The End" metal. I played where I talked to everyone, AS everyone, and one where I skipped all the background, and just played the game. Both times Cricket gets arrested instead of killing Lucille.

**END OF SPOILER**

In any case, again, great game, and I hope to see a sequel, or at least, more games from you!

That was actually rather quite enjoyable. The plot twist at the end was fantastic, but what I really enjoyed, besides the story, was the gameplay mechanics of possessing people, and then using different combinations of talking to people as other people in order to move the story forward. Brilliant!
