Reviews for "Why Am I Dead"

Not bad Not bad. It is a good game, I had to look at the walk through in the end. But the whole journey was cool.

that was perfect, the whole thing was really good, best mystery game ive ever played (or my first) .i espically liked the twist ending

Really good game O.o... The ending completely shocked me. Nice job!

Quick walkthrough:

(SPOILERS)

When the game starts, you can only possess Cricket.
Talk to Randy as Cricket
Walking out of the murder scene, you see Ted.
Talk to Ted as Cricket : "Did anyone seem out of place last night?"
Possess Ted
Go up and enter the middle room, the W.C.
Talk to the Shitter as Ted.
Talk to Ted as Cricket : "What about the others here?"
Go up and enter the 2nd left room, you see Morgan and her daughter Iblis.
Posses Iblis
Go to the room to the right of Ted, you see Randy.
Talk to Randy as Iblis.
Possess Randy
Talk to Cricket as Randy : "Alright, so...listen, there's some shit I gotta tell you."
Go to the left most room, you see Rose.
Possess Rose
Talk to Morgan as Rose.
Talk to Morgan as Cricket :
-"Did you know the hotel owner?"
-"I find that hard to believe. You must have noticed something."
-"You said you noticed something, what was it?"
Posses Cricket.
Room to the right of the W.C, you see Lucille.
Talk to Lucille as Cricket; She wants to speak with you in private at the murder scene.
Go to the murder scene and talk to Lucille as Cricket.
(Again, the game does not let you possess Lucille here.)

Bug:
Leave a person as soon as you enter the upper hall,
(Perferably, he should be left standing in the middle)
Possess another person from the lower hall.
Enter the upper hall, and you're now stuck.
The two person would not seperate, no matter which one you try to move.

Solid 3.5. I have to agree with DreadMore, the vibe of the conversation
seem to be hinting a hidden ending. If it's true, then this'd be a solid 4.
Anyway, a decent little game. Nice work!

It was pretty interesting, but maybe a bit too open-ended (but still also too short) for my tastes. Plus, if you hit the wrong button in the pause menu, you're taken back to the main menu with no option of continuing your game. It's a serious design flaw when one misclick erases all your progress.
