Usually when there is a BUNCH of submissions under judgement (right now, there's over 50!), I look at the icons and long descriptions, and vote 5 or 0 based on whether or not I think they will pass, leaving opinion at the door. For submissions with icons below a certain level of quality, I let them play for 5 seconds, which is usually enough time to decide whether or not any effort was put in, and whether or not they will likely pass.

I sometimes leave a review as well.

However, for your video, not only did I automatically vote 5 based on the level of quality in the icon, but I actually sat down and watched the whole thing, because you actually managed to pull me in before I even watched it. You made me WANT to watch it. So congratulations on that.

For my actual opinion, I liked it, animation was well done, I watched the loop about three times.

Nothing happened. He just waved. If you made this for personal reasons then why didn't you keep it personal instead of publishing it for the whole world with internet to see? Don't publish crap when you can do better. This character isn't bad. He deserves more than this. Give him what he deserves!
