Reviews for "Madness: Will It Slice?"

This game is quite fun in overall, but a bit repetitive.

too hard!!!!!

Moar practice!

its good, needs tweaking though , to make it better.

It's a good game, I'd like it to be expanded as you said, but I will point out some things:

First thing, the charged beam gives me the impression it will pierce through anything, and actually the animation of the beam does so until it hits a wall, but I found that the laser only affects the first zombie it touches. That would not have bothered me if it weren't because the dead corpses stopped my shots to frequently.

Second, I don't see any advantage to using the single laser in front of the triple laser. Both have (apparently) the same charge time, same fire rate and same fire power, so I don't understand what's the single laser for. Maybe in the final game you'll make the triple laser an upgrade that has to be achieved somehow, but in this game there isn't any reason to use the single laser.

Third, I found impossible to beat the last level. I tried it 3 times, and after killing 15 zombies the zombie counter stayed at 15 of 15 but the end level gate didn't open. Maybe a zombie that doesn't spawn correctly.

Otherwise, I liked it a lot, and I hope my review is useful to improve it.

Thanks for mentioning the last level. I was testing something and forgot to change the code back.

This is just a "demo" of the upcoming game. That game will have better upgrade system (including slicing through multiple targets) but I wanted to release something that was reasonably fun and challenging. In this game the triple laser actually charges slower. This does make a difference if you are being attacked by multiple enemies.

I always loved watcing the Madness videos.
