Reviews for "The Visit"

Oh, i just love this. Had to get every ending. It's short, true, but i somehow feel that it's not about length here. Art.

SUCH IS LIFE

great

That was great!!!! I really loved this. Your style kind of gave me that "Adventure Time" vibe but with your own twists in it. Audio was original and audible to say the least. The game basically from my playthrough is that there's "three" endings as far as I can see. The first is the main plot driven story where you get past the friendly crab people and get to the "Hero's" girl, THE END! Then you have the latter route where if you "kill" a crab person in a dark comedic twist cops arrest and apprehend the protagonists where he's presented on trial. There's two choices in the matter: 1. is your really apologetic and sorry. 2. Your a complete jerk and doesn't care about the consequences. Then you await your "sentences" where it actually in a sense "punishes" the player by letting them wait. Afterwards your set free and everything has changed for he worst. Including weeping or enraged crab people (or both!). If you apologized earlier you can apologize to the grieving little crustacean filled crowd. Or if you've chosen the alternative and wasn't sorry to begin with they are just a raging little crowd. Then you finally get to the Hero's girlfriend.....Who is plain pissed at him. And also depending on the ending your cat come's to you and either slaps your for the "atrocities" you committed or it forgives you in a sense. this game wowed me some and has minor repay value for it. To me the game should of been a tad bit longer since i enjoyed the whole feel of the game but then it just goes into an abrupt end. I'm going to bestow you a 3 in a half out of 5. And a 4/5 in voting power. You've done a fantastic job here friend. Also as a quick side note. Will you make something like this similar in the future? My mind keeps saying that if you went farther with this it might end up as an indie game, And I love indie games! Anywho, I hope you've enjoyed this review and keep practicing and honing those awesome skills! Good day.

molkman responds:

Oh man, thanks for the elaborate review. Glad you enjoyed it.

We're in fact thinking about expanding the project or a similiar one.

Was fun, but short; took me a few tries to figure out that last medal ending.
