This is pretty cool but the following things make it no fun:
- Boat travel isn't possible
- The automatic roads between new cities aren't cool, I want to see civilizations "discover" each other
- groups of cities don't naturally form countries and fight wars
- brush size controls don't seem to work in Chrome?
- STOP IT WITH THE FUCKING METEORS
- occasionally I miss and hit R
some other features that have been suggested would be neat too.
Great game, but it feels like this planet is being pounded by some mass drivers, considering every meteor impact the game does without your input seemingly hits a city, and it happens quite often. Probably the one thing that takes away from the game the most. It's rather annoying seeing a thriving people, with cities spread across the map, only for the map to be pounded to ash and the lush landscape basically looking like the moon with water.
More elements to expand the towns would be nice, like actually seeing them develop farms so they stop starving, and maybe forming tribes/countries on their own.
This is an interesting, original and entertaining game. I just think it could be so much better. Maybe provide more ways to interact with your world, other than just designing islands and causing disasters. Ways to feed your people would be nice as the many messages of "[insert name here] has died of starvation at [age]" are a little disheartening if you're trying to keep your people alive and thriving. It would be fun to input animals, time changes, lightning, weather control and methods of controlling your people, although i can see that being difficult. Other than the aforementioned problems it's an incredible game that makes you feel like a god. Also the mechanics for meteors and fire are pretty good.
its a pretty epic game, but i hate that random meteors that comes up every 3 years till destroy my whole city, but i'm not complaining about that. Good game... i hope it gets new upgrades zooms and stuffs... good job!
Great Game but one thing bothers me.People tend to be different Colors like Pale,Pink,and White are those Groups or Skin colors?
