I think this is haunting and beautiful. It's particularly stunning when you enlarge the illustration.
From afar it it's not obvious to me that the structure is a church - it looks a bit like trees - but when I zoomed in, I was amazed by the detail. I felt like I could get lost in the work. Rarely do I walk away from something on newgrounds and think "wow!" but the detail here definitely wowed me (although I'm no connoisseur - just some dude).
