Reviews for "Rovion - Frostbite"

this is good though and music is great... but there not blood but i dont cut the stars

Zalfurius responds:

Thank you!! If you like blood I'm sure you'll like what's to come.

Oh boy where to begin.... The animation and music was pretty good. The music did fit into the animation quiet well and of course the main guy was blue. Fav color. The combat.... was to one sided for my taste. Sure the other guy got the ear off though that was due to a bs moment with the dart and even then the whole adrenaline thing counteracted the drug (assuming it was a drug) like nothing and if anything made him stronger. Some fairness in the fights would be great to see and would certainly draw out a series more if they where evenly matched. I did laugh at the train part though out of how random it was.

Over all, I would say 3/5 due to the one sided combat and wtfness of the video, but loving how it was animated, the music used, and well fitted in sound effects.

Zalfurius responds:

You're right, Frost was a bit overpowered, he is the strongest in the world though. Add that special stimulant and he's unstoppable. Any other fight would be more even. Thanks for the great review, glad you liked the blue!

very cool

Zalfurius responds:

Thank you sir!!!

I dunno, that guy wasn't enough of a super villain to me. It looked like the hero was picking on a physically disabled evil retard who couldn't fight back, other than that, the flash was pretty good.

Zalfurius responds:

The hero was the strongest Rovian on the planet, so the villian didn't really stand much of a chance. That said, the villain did come out a lot wimpier than intended... Thanks for the review!

I wasn't satisfied with the choreography of this animation. It's pacing was too slow, and at times it didn't make sense (the green guy didn't really fight back, he just stood there most of the time). I suggest studying some of the epicness around NG to see how others made there's interesting.

One piece of advice when you make your scenes, try not to draw them out for too long. When the blue guy hit the green guy into the side of the cliff and saw the inside of their base, the whole "this is what's inside" scene (where you see everything inside the base) was too long. Avoid doing these sort of scenes, they draw away the interest of the audience.

Otherwise this is some great animation work. It was funny at times (especially the ending, as I was thinking about the "I like trains" kid :3). It's just that the choreography that needs work.

Zalfurius responds:

You are totally right, some of the scenes were too long, and I really need to work on the choreography. I had zero epxerience in any sort of fighting scene (the only thing I'd animated before this was some fellow failing at pole vaulting). I will work on it and try to make it much better next time. Thanks for the awesome review!
