I loved it but was too short
Very short, basic game. Kinda tough on the brain to wrap around the firing buttons...but that's a good thing. A good start.

Thanks! Yeah, I didn't realize most gamers use WASD for movement and thus would use the arrows for shooting... I was considering fixing that before I uploaded it to NG, but I wanted to keep it true to the Ludum Dare version so I left it alone :)
would love to see the game evolve from here
So far I'm getting into it but as soon as the menu pops up, I can't exit it. I press every key on the keyboard and it just stays there.

DOH!!!! Sorry, I didn't end up explaining it very well... You should be able to click on one of the map squares at the bottom. It's an incredibly rudimentary map without much explanation LOL
