Well, I'm not a huge fan of tetris and I'm not very good at it either so I'm going to have to tweak my critique here a little. Nothing was wrong with it as such, very weird sort of concept here. A tetris championship. The introduction was quite funny when it says he worked hard.
It's quite broad, with the upgrades and the different levels. I think this has a chance.

Exactly what Vhorlen said. The game is more about endurance than skill; it should have a straight health bar rather than a push n' pull thingy.
Aside from the one-color tetris blocks, the graphics were good. Not too showy. Whistling and cheering got a little annoying. And I'm used to hitting the up button to instantly place a block down. I find it a lot easier to use one hand for the rotation and another for the placing. Then again, I'm not sure if the upgrades use the mouse or not. It's a good game... but not much more than that, for me.
