For the second time, M-W defines a 'game' as an activity engaged in for diversion or amusement.
You didn't find the game amusing, but you you were diverted from whatever you were otherwise doing.

Anyway, if there's any good to be had from this, it's that I've received more reviews on this flash submission than anything I've submitted in the past.
