Lovin' the minimalism. Minus points for the flying bug - apparently the athlete possesses the magical ability of double jump... or triple... quadr... ugh. By tapping the mouse button you can fly over all the hurdles.
Kudos for fun minigame, but how about whole Olympics in small scale? ;)
fun, but the screen's got to be bigger and the damn timing of the false start has to be fixed. I swear it gives you a false ending if you click before the sound of the gun ends, rather than if you click before it begins. I had lots of times were I already saw "GO" for a millisecond before it went to "False start"
It's an athletic rule: "if the athlete moves within 0.10 seconds after the gun has fired the athlete has false started." (this avoid luck)
This game is alright. After a few tries I figured out how to play and what I was doing. The interface made me feel like I had a goal by being mostly composed of the High score, but it mainly just got in the way and made the game feel even smaller/hard to see. You could probably shrink the high scores and make the race wider, or even make a "Olympic Records" tab for people to view and focus more on the runner. It would allow us to be more precise when jumping.
I didn't want to move the hurdles and the track to left, just the athlete to right. All the sizes are in scale (track, hurdles, athlete).
not bad, but it needs work. i love the idea of it but its to small and the interface sucks. other than that its a great time waster :)
