The first thing I would like to say is that the artwork is sooooooooooooooo stylish! Loved it!! It was a pretty good part 1 and I'm looking forward to the next segment. However, there are some things I'd like to ... "nitpick". Death's first attempt at killing the girl: while I liked the music and the imagery, I felt it ended up a little flat. The pacing is too quick I think, with the narration going from "He lifted his great scythe and thought... thought... he just couldn't do it". I think the tension could have been built up a little more. Next, the narration for Elsie's death: it's really the words used at this moment, I don't think it matches the mood of the scene. And finally, Death taking Elsie away: again it's the "dialogue" that bothers me, I know he's taking to a child but the way he forms his sentences... can't get behind it. But in any case, I thought Death looked great, Elsie looked adorable and I'm looking forward to the rest of the story ! Keep it up !
A very interesting story. The dearth of color really helps set the mood for the story, and the narration was spot on. Good work sir, I look forward to what you come up with next!
