Reviews for "Steam Rogue"

While is it a very typical puzzle concept, the game doesn't fail to amuse me. The idea of running on a "2 button control" makes the game very liner and leaves little room for creative ways to approach towards the objective. The game can still be extremely challenging (Guard lights Q_Q) and may require a lot of patience with a tad bit of timing. While I am not a huge fan of this type of gameplay, the game still does it's job and is still enjoyable.

the controls are probably the most interesting thing about this game. It's only two buttons, but I'm finding myself having to turn my hand sideways on the keyboard to make good us of it. That part about it makes it a little frustrating when in tight spots that need fast movement between them both and sometimes hit the wrong one. Perhaps changing it so that both arrow keys and W/S can be used at the same time or at least have them side by side rather than one above the other would make this better. The animation of it looks great and the music isn't overly distracting.

Enjoyed it up until the guard lights, and then I couldn't get past the level and it really frustrated me. Really like the premise though, wish it could have been toned down more in the earliest levels and but some enjoy harder games and maybe I just suck at it. Like the game though, great job!

I am bit surprised how much trouble people are having with the guard lights, what made that stage difficult? If it helps at all, you can pass through the lights unharmed while they are blinking. If you mean the moving lights, perhaps they could be slowed down a little?

Stylish, interesting, but only 3,5 stars.
Yep, I like the game, but i've found controls a little bit annoying. Okay, maybe it's the matter of difficulty and part of the puzzle or my awkwardness, but... Why just not to allow to use WASD and arrows simultaneously?

A great Robot day game you really push the idea but I also love the depth of the game and overall it was a pretty fun game, some nice ideas here and everyone loves a good ol game and for robot day this was a great entry but anyways nice work
