Horrible controls but good concept, the controls for jumping and such should have been beta tested better before release

A=Attack
S=Jump
What's so bad about that???! The 'Up Arrow' key is used for digging upwards.
I don't know.... this isnt great controls at all... its very hard and a little too to have the arrows to control the movements as well as jump with a or s and keep that going when the plants drop from under you... i think if would have been better if you just used the arrows instead of Letters..
I'm unsure if that is harder to make or if this was just your preference

Just my preference... I don't get why so many people have a problem with 'S' being jump. Alien Hominid's jump button is 'S' because 'A' is atack and the player will want 'Up' for aiming up. Which is similair to the controls in this game.
Seems to be a slight lag when controlling plant growth. THis makes the game and plant growth almost impossible to predict. Would it be possible to see where you're growing the plant before it finishes? Maybe add some powerups or fertilizers.
Great game. love the concept.
as egg82 already mentioned i, too, like up as the jump-button more than s.
also the difficulty was pretty easy, but thanks to the wonderful music this is more of a relax-game that a challenge-game anyway.
graphics could have been better but fair enough this is a 72h project, so its ok i guess. (only REAL downdreaft: i could barely see the plant itself, but this could be only me because im have a little defective color vision.)
overall a great game which i really enjoyed playing
once again im stunned how you guys can do such amazing things in only 72hours
