Reviews for "Man Who Sold The World"

Ok. This has to be one of the most innovative interactive story games I have seen in a long time. Here's why:

Story: The story is superb. I really like the thought provoking premise of the game and the choice you have to make at the end really puts the subject matter into perspective. However, I would have liked to have more variation between endings, perhaps with some dialogue or some in-game cutscenes.

Gameplay: The platforming aspect of the game is pretty solid and fun. However, I felt that some of the scenes were a little too repetitive at times. Also, the jumping mechanism was too sensitive; making the rooftop area especially more of a chore than a challenge. Being said, that could be just down to my own personal preference.

Music: The variation of music really suited the different areas well and contributed to the atmosphere and story of the game. It was so good, i may have to look up the audio file :)

Overall: Good, solid, and fun story driven experience with a music score complimenting all aspects of the game. Platforming was a little on the average side, but as you said on the comments section, its main focus is the story and not the gameplay. A well deserved 4.5 :D

Fluid controls (once I figured out that my laptop won't let me press a billion keys at once), and beautiful prose. I would have liked to see some post-game dialogue based on the choice you make at the end, but all-in-all, a pretty great little game.

this is a title of a nirvana song. weird. but good game though
