The voice acting (more like "yelling acting") was taken from the characters Zelda and Aryll, from the Zelda series. Perhaps that's why you found it similar to Link. But that was not my intention to be honest.
It was pretty cute. Liked the sound effects. I think she was a bit TOO chubby. The pronounced boobs and buttocks killed a lot of the cuteness for me.
