The Soundtrack needs adjustment - serious adjustment in my opinion. The color scheme is a little lacking. I know you ment for it to be this way but I mean at least a little bit of color? Like the enemies being Neon Red?
Fun game. spent quite a while on it (more than I wanted! ;p) I will agree with some that the color scheme blends everything together and makes it difficult to distinguish certain aspects. Suggestion on such would be for the upgrades (shield and armor) to be green. Leave the bots as they are, but changing their gunfire color to red would help everywhere except maybe on the laser level. I look forward to the hinted sequel, maybe make it so there's a save reader for a tiny boost (don't want to overpower people) to firepower/health/shields. Maybe even have the drone be a purchasable thing that's free with a loaded save.
