Reviews for "Orange Roulette"

This game is strangely addicting. What I love most about this is the atmosphere, it's incredible, makes up for a quite simplistic game.

One medal doesn't seem to be working for me though, I've shot two opponents and still haven't gotten the 'Harmer's Market' medal. Maybe it's broken?

Despite a concept that's a tad silly on the surface (anthropomorphic oranges playing roulette), you imbibed it with enough atmosphere and believable emotion to make it surprisingly tense. The facial expressions of each orange really sold the idea; the widened eyes whenever the trigger was pulled, the look of utter disappointment or fear at a failed shot. You even managed to slip in an eerie psychedelic effect with the final opponent; the hallucinations were an especially nice touch on that round. And as always, your writing is clever; the short journal entries added an extra layer to the main character.

You've been making a lot of unique games nowadays, Mazterath. This is an intense game with an original concept, and excellent musical contributions from Amon26.

This fucking game is kinda crazy!
it just makes me think of how stupid it would be to actually play it in real life!
but it was entertainig after all.
Nice little time waster to show to your friends!
Thanks a lot a congrats for the 3rd place!

This game is a fun little time passer. You blended the eerie war prisoner atmosphere with comically cheery art design and fruity (heh heh get it) looking characters. The game also feels very tense, like as if you were really playing Russian Roulette. Unfortunately it gets very repetitive fast, but I guess it's not suppose to be played in long sessions. 4.5/5 *thumbs up*

Awesome. I finished it on the first try. Fun fun
