Well, the animation is kind of nice. The voice acting was of good quality as well. However, the idea (a pokemon parody) is pretty old, kind of like how the title suggested. Like I had suspected while it was loading, its got just about everything your generic pokemon parody has:
-trainers (like Ash) cussing in just about every scene where they have dialog
-random faces out of nowhere (though that seems to belong more towards Newgrounds in general)
-pokemon using attacks to kill other pokemon which results in a large amount of blood
The only mildly fresh thing I saw was that Gary got what he deserved. It only gave me a chuckle, the rest is stuff that's been done before.
