Well... I think the game is a fun concept, but it does have a few major problems that really detract from it (and the score I am giving it).
1. The most major thing is that by the 4th level the game had made it so I could no longer fire on the block with my laser moved to the right. Though I was able to make it work in level 4 Level 5 is pretty much a crap level if you can't fire from both sides. I even tried restarting the game to no avail. This is a major bug that needs fixed.
2. The second thing is how the cutting happens. Where you see the light isn't where it cuts, and reducing the power doesn't change this. The result are a large number of minute pieces that can be difficult if not impossible to get at without damaging the shape or restarting the level.
3. On those lines the game also has a bug where it leaves lines or things that look like pieces of block remaining which are in-fact nothing more than a distracting artifact. Which ones are real? You don't know until you fire at them and either destroy them or restart the level.
4. In addition to the two general cutting issues above (2 and 3) I also noticed that the cutter has a tendency to take out thin sections next to each other resulting in an uneven cut. Again this is problematic. Given the way the game is scored if you added these things with purpose consider changing them. They don't really make the game more difficult they just make it more annoying. Smooth cutting that takes place only where the beam is and everywhere the beam is. Is the way to go.
Overall I think I gave this game a fair chance, the major bug of not being able to cut from the right killed it for me. The other bugs and annoyances I could have lived with but still should be fixed. As the game cannot be played as I would hope it was intended I can at best give this 2 stars at the moment. I think you should do some re-working of it and submit an update because it really is a fun concept and could be a fun game.
