Fun for a few minutes, but all it did is remind me of how much better of a game Metal Warriors was. I think i spent more time and had more fun playing 2-player Metal Warriors than i have with the multiplayer of any other game except Mario Kart.

Like the concept, but cant stand timers on games, i understand its to replicate a retro game style but... hate timers, sorry.

Nice concept with the up-grades and stuff... but, as fan of the original LucasArts/Konami game, it's a big disappointment.
Metal Warriors is among the best SNES titles out there, packed full of action with a great plot, with an amazing gameplay for it's age. It was the Armoured Core of it's time.
Maybe this could have been a good game if the sprites weren't so straight forward with no shame copy-pasted...
Holy derivative, Batman. As mentioned below, it's basically the art from Metal Warriors pasted onto something that plays like an easy set of Mega Man levels with a 10 second boss. (No really, ten seconds.) I want to respect this game--after all it plays smoothly, easy to get into, and is relatively bug free--but there's not even any credit given to the people who did the actual work 20 years ago.
Newgrounds is at its best when it's showcasing creativity. This game is the counterpoint.
A big rip-off of a super nes game called METAL WARRIORS, the sprites of the mechas are directly copy-pasted into this basic platform shooter game, it's sad to see that many people don't recognize the obvious similarities..
Pretty cheap try imo, because there's no real work of art in this game, nothing to say about the gameplay, i dare you to mess up a platformer with only 5 commands.
At last is just a forgettable product wich gives no honor to the sources it's made of.. go and play the snes game because it was AWESOME, not like this pretentious piece of crap.
