The medals work. You are allowed to use Pistol and health upgrades but are not allowed to buy other weapons for the pistol run.
I have to rate -1 star because the game didnt spawn the last enemy at level18. Then I quit to menu and got reset at lvl 19 but with no pistol upgrades. Miraculously survived (you can use the honey pot even with 0 honey left) and then lvl 20 was normal.

What can i say this game was part of my childhood its graphics are cute its gameplay is awesome and all around its really fun
22 minutes, final score 300625, 1058 kills, final money 296100, only pistol, only pistol and HP upgrades, GGGGg
If you reach level 20 and then you leave, come back to the game and click continue, it will send you to level 21 and it will glitch the game up, and not spawn the last enemy and soft lock permanently the game from finish it.
And damn the last review was 5 years ago, so rip this game.
