This isn't that great to be honest....but it's a good start... From the very first battle, it wen't all downhill.

Here's my thoughts on the game, and I will put some possible changes and fixes for you.
* The enemies are overpowered with their basic attack damage. Reduce it!
* Limit Break skill does way too little damage. Raise it!
* The Healing costs too much MP, again, Reduce it!
* Add some items, potions of healing or something else useful.
* Make each episode longer, or simply make more episodes!
* Since when does Tails have a GUN?? - Keep the game to it's original attacks like the Genesis did.
* There's no chance of surviving Metal Sonic assault, but maybe that's the idea. I think it might be, so disregard the last one if that's the case.

Hm. This is okay. It's good for a start, but needs plenty of work. I'm sure you'll improve the interface's visuals later, so I won't nitpick there. However, the enemies are stupid difficult. In response to Sickle1986, Tails has uses a gun in Sonic Battle. It's where quite a few of these sprites came from. Otherwise, I agree with all of the amendments he's suggested.

I liked the Limit Break animation, but maybe Tails' regular attack could use some work? The same goes for the energy charge that surrounds him while casting. That could be better as well. The sound effects are good, wouldn't change 'em. Check your code for his movement in the dungeon. His animation stops while moving diagonally. And lastly, make the battle transition screen faster. The fading background is fine, but speed it up if you're going to make the game longer.
