Reviews for "I Am Flying To The Moon"

I've played plenty of games with this premise, but this one completely disappoints me due to the lack of control you have. The game is far too overpopulated with obstacles, and hitting just ONE of them makes it impossible to continuously improve your altitude record. It takes far too recover from an impact, so once you get hit, it's hardly worth continuing that day. Next, the warning sirens. Not only is it annoying, but it never stops. I wanted to like this game, but after each time I played it, it only felt like wasting time due to these set backs I had

I like 'Into Space' (http://www.newgrounds.com/portal/vie w/552646) much more. Ths is the same, but in 'into space' there are more tiny things like an 'oh yeah' if you reach a new attitude record and so on. I think you can copy a game concept, but only if you make it better...

The game is way too difficult because the beginning enemies never stop being obstacles who will wildly knocking you off course, making you plummet to the ground.

Clicking "new game" does nothing.

Really Awesome.
One of the few games of this sort that I actually enjoyed the flying part more than the upgrading part (learn to fly is the only other), which is the way it should be. The proportions of everything are very well balanced - amount of enemies and upgrades to dead space, and how much each upgrade helps and costs. The only thing that annoyed me was that if I flew into an enemy at the wrong angle (trying to turn away from it), it would knock me about a quarter of the total sky's height downwards, and it happened a lot. I wish the engine had a higher acceleration rate upwards from a fall, and that hull upgrades would keep the ship from rotating as much upon collisions.
