Reviews for ME: Animated Header

I don't think the people who watched this when it first came out realized just how influential it would be to the culture at large.

The first time I watched ME: Animated Header, I was simply blown away. From the phenomenal acting to its non-linear storytelling, it felt like something powerful. I watch it today, and I can still see all of that. The opening scene is brilliant; the trust/betrayal issues are almost Shakespearean; the violence is genuine and doesn't feel contrived. But it's come to be one of those cases of style over substance for me, where the style is great enough to distract for a bit, and then you realize very little is actually happening.

But does anything much have to happen? There is a reason that this film is referenced as much as it is. You created something gorgeous and unique. And quite frankly, I don't know if the world will ever get to see something like this ever again.

As a flash, it's too simple, but as a header, it's good - I like animated headers.

Eh, the animation felt like it was from 2003, which in my opinion always is good, I like how those animations feel. Does the link work? Don't wanna click it, since my history of going on abandoned sites have been bad.

Feels like it's from 2003 eh? Well, this is still pretty old at this point.

The link in the video does not work, because it isn't programmed properly, but the link in the description should work now that I've updated it. The website is alive and well, but we're not really into Minecraft anymore, but it's still a pretty decently sized community of gamers if you're interested in checking it out!
