Simply because your not the best doesn't mean your no good and the fact you did it on paper shows a great deal of efort and time was put into this so good job. :)

Nice movie, all I can think about though is "Holy crap, that chicken gave birth to a lion!"
It's interesting, and fairly well paced. I think the sounds at times clashed a bit, specifically when the lion first showed up. It was also around that point that I felt your theme got a bit disconnected, the progression of evolution and growth took a couple big leaps there.
The repetition and rhythm was good for your assignment theme of accomplishing "time" without standard methods, but I think you could have done more to connect your various scenes. That connection is also something important to the themes of time and evolution.

Thanks for the feedback, this is from second year (in third atm), since then I've improved on transitions and such (though there are bits here and there that make me cringe a wee bit). The sound track went through various stages, from being the Robin Hood Prince of Thieves theme to Kaneda's theme from Akira to this. I did have sounds and drum beats that went in time withw hat was happening, but when playing it back it just didn't sound right.
The interpretation was time through loops, ie, all of times a loop (clocks loop, calenders loop, evolution loops etc). Thanks again for the constructive criticism :).
