Reviews for "Hands of War TD"

Refreshing taste in the TD genre

The game was amazingly fun to play, it had the right mix of difficulty, strategy, and challenge to make it awesome. The upgrade system worked really well, and I love how it was tied in with the reputation system. When the towers went up in price after I purchased one in a group I was pleasantly surprised. The different tiles that gave abilities were a nice twist and had me switching up my towers to accommodate them. The addition of the champion was a nice touch, and the abilities for him fit well; none were to op or up and their usefulness was based on how useful they were to you. The number of towers and the talent trees were stunning, there were a lot of options in this to indulge many different types of players. Though I have seen all of these things before in other TD's, how it came together here definitely made one of the best TD's I've played in awhile. The only thing I found lacking was the interaction between your champion and warriors, and the mobs on the road. I was fully expecting the mobs to stop and fight my men, and was disappointed to see that the mobs kept going. It felt less like I was repelling an enemy invasion/occupation and was instead shooting fish in a barrel. This is only a minor complaint though and can easily be overlooked, however I think I did find a bug. I found that when I got the Blademaster's Craft talent, it not only reduced my warrior's cost and upgrade cost, but also reduced the cost of my trading posts so thought I should let you know. Anyways, I got to get back to the game, hope to see more from you.

Great TD game

I have to say this is the best TD games in a long time. Keep up the good work man!

I've spend more time on this game than any other TD I can recall. And I really like it! So I've explored the game and found some bugs or things that I think could be improved.

The game FPS drops when waves come above roughly 75. At 150+, the 15 seconds champion buff becomes a minute or so. Dunno if this is my computer that make it happen.
The layer of the electricity at the overcharge tower is above the text/upgrade box.
It seems when I add the "faster enemies" and "waves get tougher faster", some of the enemies (think its Wizards/healer? or the speed-up ones) freezes on screen and stays there flickering (sometimes they unfreezes and move again).
When you log-in from "Armor games" your saved games move one field down leaving the top saved game "Click to login". The middle field shows the progress of the top game. and the bottom saved game is the middle game progress.
Towers can miss if enemies are too fast. And Ranger and ranger champion misses if target is within range but too far away.
Ranger champion misses if the target is slowed, leaving the arrow in front of the enemy.
Ranger lacks attack speed when below a certain point (dont know what it is), shooting arrows at a slower speed than other towers with same attack speed.
It would be cool if you didn't have a tower it would tell you what to do to get it when mouseover. (building not upgrade)

So far thats what I've got for you. But its an amazing game! And Ill now return to play some more. THANKS :D

It's a great TD with a good balance with everything it has to offer. I disagree with the complaint of not being able to keep your upgraded towers. There would be no point, since you make more gold then there are towers to upgrade, so you'd get bored after 5 waves. Plus, there'd be no strategy. Whomever said the level ends in practically 4 waves was clearly not playing this game.

THERE IS NO REASON FOR ME TO BE PLAYING THIS FOR 2 HOURS. But damn this game is really addicting. Congratulations this is a really fun game.
