Reviews for "Hands of War TD"

Great Game

I like the game quite a lot. Adds some new aspects to the very old TD Genre. However I noticed a bug you might want to know about. I played Ranger (dunno if thats relevant) and at one point I was like: "woa i got special abilitys to use with my Hero". So i triet them here and there. But when i tried to use teleport my hero vanished from the map and i couldnt place him anywhere with the teleport skill. My Hero was basicly lost for that round because i tried to use the teleport spell. U might want to have a look at that.

Great TD game

I have to say this is the best TD games in a long time. Keep up the good work man!

Refreshing taste in the TD genre

The game was amazingly fun to play, it had the right mix of difficulty, strategy, and challenge to make it awesome. The upgrade system worked really well, and I love how it was tied in with the reputation system. When the towers went up in price after I purchased one in a group I was pleasantly surprised. The different tiles that gave abilities were a nice twist and had me switching up my towers to accommodate them. The addition of the champion was a nice touch, and the abilities for him fit well; none were to op or up and their usefulness was based on how useful they were to you. The number of towers and the talent trees were stunning, there were a lot of options in this to indulge many different types of players. Though I have seen all of these things before in other TD's, how it came together here definitely made one of the best TD's I've played in awhile. The only thing I found lacking was the interaction between your champion and warriors, and the mobs on the road. I was fully expecting the mobs to stop and fight my men, and was disappointed to see that the mobs kept going. It felt less like I was repelling an enemy invasion/occupation and was instead shooting fish in a barrel. This is only a minor complaint though and can easily be overlooked, however I think I did find a bug. I found that when I got the Blademaster's Craft talent, it not only reduced my warrior's cost and upgrade cost, but also reduced the cost of my trading posts so thought I should let you know. Anyways, I got to get back to the game, hope to see more from you.

hours of wasted lifetime awaits you.....

Hours of wasted lifetime awaits you if you start playing this game.
I relly like this game. This is one f the best TD games I played.
.
I don´t know if it´s your, Armor Games or even Newgrounds fault, but there is a saving problem if you use different browsers. When I saved w/h FireFox I couldn´t load my game w/h Explorer or Chrome, allthough I could see the scores. Vice versa didn´t seem to be a problem.
Strange.

Very enjoyable and well-told

I very much enjoyed the differentiation of the pieces. And the story was better than I ever expect. While it didn't detract from the game, I noticed that hitting escape at the beginning of setting up a battle does not cancel the champion placement. So there is no way without placing the champion to look at the guide or save the game and quit. Not a major obstacle, because you can just place him and then quit or restart.
