Clever and well done, the whole of the story is portrayed quite well despite having no spoken vocal lines what so ever. For those who don't seem to get the short, such as Flaros and Scorcher, I think you guys seem to have forgotten that it's a cartoon version of minecraft. It's not that outrageous for a cartoon chicken to make a phone call. After all, it's a cartoon. Same goes for Link 'being square', it suits the artists' satirical art style and suits the Minecraft "world" the cartoon is set in. I really can't see how you can criticize the flash on that point.
As for the complaints about the the "arrow to the knee" reference, which is done quite tastefully and in a relatively subtle manner, please consider that this video was uploaded months ago, when the joke was still fresh. Since it was indirectly referenced, the line itself left unspoken and was posted before the joke really became massively "old and over used" (being a mere month and a half after Skyrim's release when this was posted), one really can't hold that against the video, as it was relevant at the time of creation.
That said, the animation is well done. The story portrayed effectively without the use of text or vocal narration, but rather solely with the art direction itself. It was a great short that achieved exactly what it was intended to, struck a cord with the viewer and had no real short comings in of itself. A good video and an easy 5.
