Reviews for "Abobo's Big Adventure"

Great game

Thanks for reminding me about the most rage inducing Megaman stage ever.
Still stuck on Big Mac, can't wait to see the ending.

like a best of NES games

I adore this game, it's for me like a best of NES games.
Thanks to it you can refind full of your childhood feelings in same time ( sorry for my speaking because I'm french ).
And there are full of great animations everywhere in the game... where Abobo and the heroes we like get a second life.

I found the difficulty is ok, because even if sometimes it's very hard ( for me the "Probotector stage" and the "Punch out stage"... ) the bonus, the infinites continues and the automatic save are here to give us maximum pleasure of playing, and to give to everyone the possibility to clear the game, by try again and again... I've retried maybe 10 times the last fight before I win, I don't thing a normal NES game allows that without retry from beginning. So this game is very naughty but very nice in same time. ;-)

Thanks to all the team for this beautifull present.

Good game

Game is really good, but it's way too difficult for casual payers. How about a difficulty select screen?

stuck on megabobo stage's boss so I had to play hacked version to see the ending.

...

I can't be the only one who thought the difficulty of the game was just outright broken. I hate how the Rage meter depleats as you get hit. You NEED that meter since the fucking enemies don't even get stunned when you hit them... so you're hitting them and guess what? They hit you too...

I couldn't get past level 1. Shooter Gavin was just too cheap.

I thought this game was about how badass he was. He feels like a pussy.

Abobo responds:

"I couldn't get past level 1."
This says it all.

"He feels like a pussy."
There's definitely one of those around here, but it ain't abobo.

It's still just January...

...but this is already my favorite game of 2012. I really don't see anything better coming along within this year. Bravo dudes.
