Great animation!
All 'round it's just freakin' awesome. Good angles, flow, nice music. And I keep seeing people wondering about why the evil doctor-phantom-thing gave the boy the light, then tried to take it back. My thoughts are he was trying to corrupt him, tempt him with power, so he'd have something to manipulate, something that could use the power because I think he himself can't. That didn't work, so he wanted to take it back to give to someone he -could- manipulate. And we all see how well that worked out, and now the boy's a Guardian.
Also, on that note, I like the minimal-yet-enthralling storyline. What are those sprites of? Why is that little light at the top of a random tree so powerful? What are these Guardians? And who the hell is mister Doctor Phantom?
Great job, but...
Make no mistake, this was an excellent flash, but, there are a couple things you could improve on. First off, and most importantly I think, is that this flash relies heavily on the music, of which you did not compose. I'd argue that many of these great reviews can be attributed to Ms. Stirling's excellent musical piece, of which I love; with that in mind, I doubt this flash would have made it to where it is without the soundtrack you chose. Now, this was a pretty good flash, and leaning on someone else's work is acceptable, but, is it not undesirable for you as an artist to have your work praised because you attached your work to something good made by another? If we ignore the music, the plot is a little tired and tried out, furthermore, the text that appears is a bit cheesy. I recommend you work on your dialogues.

I totally understand what your saying, and your right. If it wasn't for Lindsey's amazing music, this would be mediocre. I'm happy for all the great review this has been getting, but honestly, it should be more towards Lindsey, not me. But oh well...
Maybe someday, I'll be able to be great at what I do! One step at a time though :]

I won't be abusing the term "epic" if I use it on this, this is WONDERFUL!!
The plot was quite easy to catch even though it had little to none lines. That may be the exact reason.
I may be an easy audience, but I think this definetly deserves the good ol' 10/10-5/5
