Reviews for "Sean and Such Ep. 10"

Good improvment

Funnier content, better animation, and better scenarios! Would have been a funny scene if the hippie and the health inspector had a scene together tho... Keep it up

Nice animation

Looks good, voices are good, a real nice job on this.

But the story was BORING !!! I struggled to keep watching just to see if the story would pick up even a bit. Ethan is a complete idiot and just unsufferable, unfunny, and I just couldn't get into the humor of this character. Just a complete imbicile. Sometimes funny can be found in being dumb, dumber, or dumbest....but Ethan is just a complete moron that was just unfunny. All I have to say is "poor sean".

SeanAndSuch responds:

Soooo... you didn't like Ethan? Well, your really going to hate our next web series "Ethan and Such" ;) Just messing around, thanks for your honesty and review. This "season" of episodes always features new characters to see how the fans like it. It's safe to say you didn't like this character lol.

It was OK

It was okay, kinda funny, but it could have used a little more movement.
I dont mean like running around or moving the camera from side to side. I meant hand and body movement. You know when people talk, they usually try to emphasize what they say using body expressions and such.

Also, maybe if you cut like half a second or a full second in between dialogs the animation would feel a little bit more alive.

Nevertheless I liked it. Very original. (Didn't see the can coming XD)

Eh, not good, but not bad either.

All in all, this flash was -just slightly- below average from what I expect on Newgrounds, but certainly had much more potential than this. There were spots where the animation was really drawn out, and I mean REALLY drawn out. Just speed up the pace of the animation a tad bit and you should be fine. The core material which, again, I stress is the most important part of any flash, wasn't too bad. The humor wasn't slapstick, but rather well-written, which is a nice change of pace from what is usually posted on the front page.

Animation was good, plot was good, the humor...not so much, but not terrible. Examples: the inspector leaving to get more red pens was a little funny, the hippie waking up with a mangled hand was also a bit humorous, and the redneck complaining to Sean was probably the best part. The not very funny stuff was Ethan going on 20 second rambles, and also, certain scenes I felt could have been handled better I.E. Sean's reactions seemed too mellow for certain bits, I know my bosses would be going apeshit if an employee had 3 pounds of marijuana and a handgun.

Summary: This isn't a bad series at all, just had a couple bad spots in it, but overall, I'd say it was average. Worth watching, but not really worth watching more than twice. Most videos on here don't even get a 7 or above from me anymore, so don't feel down from getting this; if anything, feel a bit privilaged. There is potential to do better on this series, I know there is, good luck with your next submission.

SeanAndSuch responds:

Thanks for the insight. It's appreciated.
PS - the health inspector leaving to get "red pens" ties into the end of the previous episode (episode 9) which you may or may not have watched.
Season one is one long day at the pet store so you're supposed to be watching these in order to understand the plot / story 100%.

I didnt really like it.

I think that this flash had great artwork but lacked actual animation, it was very sparse and I hardly saw any movement. I think for your next episode you should experiment with a lot more movement than just plain standing watercooler gags.
