Ok, so your excuse is you want to make these fast and easy and shit them out every month if possible... there is no point in doing that if the end result is utter turd, which this was. There are cartoons online which are terribly animated and have shit sound but they can still be hilarious or give inspiration, but EVERY SINGLE aspect of this is just the same old ham I've seen from you a million times before. Don't bother saying 'it's not my thing', I don't like opera or ballet but I can still apreciate the work and talent that goes into it.
I don't need to say what was wrong with this cos PsychicPebble pretty much nailed it.
I've said a million times before I'm not trying to be mean but hey, you never listen.

Dude I don't know what else to tell you. I mean I guess if this ends up completely tanking and doesn't go anywhere then "you're right", but otherwise, I'm doing it this way because I WANT to do it this way. I don't feel like spending a month doing a 30-second video with ONE joke and the animation is gorgeous. I'd rather make something engaging and that has a cohesive story; I'm doing this from the perspective of what -I- would want to see and producing it in a way that -I- can easily get it out.

Chris I respect you as an artist and a person, but I seriously don't know what else to tell you. I don't wanna come off like I'm "not listening" because I GET what you guys are trying to get across here, but this kinda comment is translating to "stop doing anything." If the response is overwhelmingly what you and PsychicPebble are giving me, then that's another story. Otherwise, I don't see any reason to stop doing what I love.

Having TOME back is just Amazing!! I was hoping for your own custom sprites and the grid is kinda weird... but I kinda like it! I'm very glad you decided to bring it back and hope you continue it through the whole series, and maybe even more.

TOME

What can I say? I'm impressed with what TOME has become. Whatever things that could have been criticized about Tome in the past have been blown out of the water. Voice Acting is magnificent, The Animation is awesome (freaking loved all the scenes with Rockoon in them), and the elements from the original all seem to be in place.

The only thing I thought was a little cheesy was "the grid" where I was expecting awesome sequences like in the past it was just a backdrop. I wouldn't mind seeing the traditional grid brought back. Otherwise this is the greatest reboot ever.

I read your reply to psychicpebble's review, and I don't think that the intended style of the series excuses the jerky, almost haphazard way this is animated. The pacing is also too fast and there's no actual introduction to any of the characters. You're relying too much on people having watched TTA to understand who these people are and why they should be cared about. Actually, the whole episode feels like it was rushed, as though you're anxious to get through the beginning of the series and move on to the major part.
