The song is about how stoked I was about Mario 2 being released. It's the one where you could play Mario, Luigi, Toad and the Princess where, at the end, you find out that Mario dreamed the whole thing.
Dokie Dokie panic was made in Japan with a completely different cast of characters. Nintendo decided took a shortcut for the American version of Mario 2 and just changed the characters into the cast from Mario Brothers, calling it Mario 2 (as opposed the the Mario 2 released in Japan which we know of as 'the Lost Levels' released on the super nintendo cartridge under the title of 'the lost levels.'
