Nice game bro

Point-and-Click goodness

Damn you, getting me addicted to point-and-click adventures! The music was lovely, the tone well set, and the concept amazing (coming from someone currently warping the Pied Piper). I'll agree with others that cutting open the apple was a bit obtuse, but I could remember afterwards where it said what the imp thought of as 'candy'. As much as I've seen people complain about the strange logic, they don't seem to understand that the old point-and-clicks were like that.

Frankly, if you get stuck with finding things, start trying to combine the things in your inventory.

Something that did strike me as a little odd was the fact that the apple got its own special animation for going into your inventory, but none of the other items did. It seemed out of place, like you cared more about the apple, or that it was far more important, than anything else you can pick up. Not that the animation wasn't nifty, mind you. (Er, sorry for kinda beating on that, but it's one of the few nitpicks I can really come up with.)

I did return several times to the shaman, expecting him to say something different, and when he didn't it seemed a little odd. Granted, I can understand that writing/programming that extra bit would probably be more work, and I don't know your time restraints (or anything as such), but such small details always help to make a great game amazing.

For some reason, I think more misleading clues would be more fun. To me, point-and-clicks have always had the mentality of "Well, it could be useful, and if not, it's not like it matters if I get more than I need". If there are more misleading clues, then I think people would have to use their brains a little more, and make the game more challenging than a 12 minute run-through.
