Suggestion
After a couple of years enjoying games and flash on NG I finally signed up hoping the author might read this review.
I agree with most of the other reviews I've read. The game seems to be an expansion of rebuild 1 instead of a real rebuild 2. It's got some really nice new features, yes, but surely will let anyone down who's played (and enjoyed as much as I have) rebuild 1; merely because we expected so much more from a rebuild 2 .
What I really wanted to say is, how about a completely new game based on the rebuilding of an entire nation once one large city has been secured and rebuilt? Say the player has a map of America, or Europe, or Asia, or any other continent (or country if you want to think smaller) in front of him, and can send out teams of characters to claim a new city, bargain with different factions, reclaim ports, mining facilities, rural areas, military complexes, and the sort with a certain success rate.
Taking the rebuildin' to a higher scale is surely what most of the gamers where expecting, rather than starting over again on a block to block basis.
And, to finish the review off... thanks. You wouldn't believe the amount of time I've had fun with rebuild 1+2
