this game is realistic but it's simple and that makes it feel a little less great.
this is not meant in a bad way but perhaps it's something you might hear more often from people here so im just saying.
still seeing as you used an idea from twitter and set the main goal to saying goodbye to people you love it's still a game to enjoy :3

obviously it needs developing, but the essential elements are present. Apocalyptic sounds, sense of urgency and time-inspired panic. uncertainty.
i really like it. but i didn't really want to play it for very long. but good idea ad well executed. Maybe you could figure in a platform element like canabalt or something?

Simple idea=simple game. Being a die hard of Majora's Mask, I've always wanted to tinker with the idea of time and what you choose to do in dire times. The music strongly gives the feeling of incoming doom and acceptance of death, drawing me into trying harder to accomplish unlocking the next level. I found it a bit odd that people who were higher up on the screen died first from the asteroid. Perhaps using a shadow in the center (perspective), shakiness of the screen, fire in the sky... Having it like that would make it harder to see, but then again, it's a bleak outcome for the inhabitants of the world.
Nicely done, but don't forget what you learned from this game to help improve the next project.
