Reviews for "Shadow The Hedgehog: BL 2"

I seriously think that you should have tried to do something else first. This is an embarrassment to the whole sonic series. But there are many other embarrassing copies of this game so don't be so hard on yourself. But because of that I would not give you any points on originality. Not to mention the controls are bad and the enemies immune to attack, it also makes it seem like a concentrated copy of Sonic '06. Sorry, but those are facts, and that is why you do not get any stars. No hard feelings though.

FUCK YOU

THIS IS THE WORSE GAME I HAVE EVER PLAY

this games crap you cant destoy enemys and its just stupid

I have a question.

Why did you name this Shadow The Hedgehog: Blood lust?

There doesn't seem to be any instance in this game where Shadow kills anything. In fact, jumping on top of an enemy (the traditional way to kill an enemy in just about any platformer game) makes you have to start over.

Also:
1) You have music that is too loud and loops endlessly-- which gets extremely annoying after a few seconds.

2) The level design is virtually non-existent, and game play was entirely unfitting for what I assume was supposed to be a 2-D Sonic-type game. This makes the whole thing very, very boring and uninteresting.

So, how can you fix this?

Well, for starters, you could try using actual music from the Sonic games. There's a lot of it, and you can get it from just about any sprite site. Then, make sure it's not too loud, so that it won't drown out everything else and hurt the ears.

Secondly, try to make the game more like a legitimate Sonic title. If you have ever played a Sonic game before, you know what that means. Lots of Running fast and platforming, with rings strewn all about the level, and a few loops and springs thrown in for good measure. Again, just about any sprite site has stuff like this, so look into it.

Final Verdict:
2/10

Not very fun to play and in serious need of work.

RetiredSuperhero responds:

It has music from the games Sonic 3D and Sonic 1 ( Master System version). I'll use more recognisable tracks in my newer game. Also, don't all games have music tracks that loop? Maybe people don't notice them looping when they're lengthy.

This game isn't supposed to be a traditional style Sonic game - it's more of a spin-off game.

My next game with have proper scrolling and it won't be stuck in just one screen.
