Your sprite edits were well done, but the animations could be a lot better.
Some sound effects and music would be very nice as well.
The first part of the battle looked like the pokemon at humping each other, also the thing freezes when the pokemon uses shockwave

Pikario looked like Renamon from "Digimon". For whatever purpose this was made with, it really didn't turn out well. There are just so many things you could have done better with. There is the lack of sound, which you do address, but I'm sorry to say that you simply need to have some of it. I think this might have all been taken from a website that merges pokemon together. In that sense, I didn't think it was very creative even if the designs weren't bad.
It just seemed like it was the same thing happening over and over. There were some times where there was no background which is never a good idea. You could have at least found some pokemon song online to put here. In some ways, it seems like you did try to make an authentic pokemon battle. It's just that you need to have more movement.
Right, the movie was entertaining to watch, but without sound it damages the score really.
The effects and attacks are well done but without sound effects it's boring and doesn't add the intensity to the fight.
The characters, even though creative hybrids, are sprites, and sprites that don't animate, hand drawn creatures with some animation would of made this better, the backgrounds too are copy and paste stock footage which is disappointing.
Things to improve upon:
Sound is needed
Detail and animation skills for characters
Handrawn or creative backgrounds instead of stock pictures.
I really do like the Attack effects though.
