Its been a long time since there has been an Air Force themed game.Glad to see one here!
Anyway - The game is great.The only little problem is the weapons.But thats because im used to play those single weapon games.
The problem i had was :
I always forgot the special was ready
I didnt really check the Gun temp,making me take some damage and lose some enemies
When there was an Anti-bomb turret,i never could destroy 100% of what was in ground level (since its a bit hard to put your jet without taking damage near the ground)
I didnt find a real use for afterburner ( just later i found,you will see the tip)
I also did little usage of missiles.They are limited,reloads slowly and acts just like the bullet gun - making this kind of obsolete since in most cases bullet > missiles.
Sometimes there was a tree and HELL i wish i could just DESTROY THOSE TREES!Because when there was an anti-bomb turret and there was a tree nearby,i couldnt make it vanish from putting it on fire.So it acted like a shield.
A TIP:
When you re going to use any of the specials,use the afterburner right when you activate it.Doing this will let your special cover a bigger area and be more destructive,since the bombs arent single targeted and destroy what is around it.This is most effective with Carpet bombardment since it destroys a wider range.

Suggestion :
Put a select screen when you start the game,to make you choice what kind of jet you want (like F-22,maverick and such).This brings a more arcade feel and also the "Air Force combatant" look.
Also make the information place more organised.Its essential to put the main elements visible and easy to check.Example is :
A bigger Special bar.
Make the missile/temperature/bombs in one place and make it more compact.
Make a tiny bar just below the jet showing the afterburner,so you will give it more functionality.
Make the lives place more compact.Example : For each life,you had a jet.Make it so that theres only one jet a X(number of lives) to make it more compact.
Not important but fun : I really thought youd put a nuke special on this game,since it would make sense a jet carrying a smart nuke bomb on it.I love to see a screen shaking and full of explosions >:)

A great game, but the thing that really stands out is the voice acting. Once I heard it I couldn't stop laughing! 10 points just for the voice!

A great action game!
This was a fun game to play.
Pros:
+ No unnecessary and boring upgrade bs.
+ A proper challenge and nice quite balanced gameplay.
+ Nice graphical style.
+ Arnie speeches gave the commando feeling to it.
+ Didn't exactly go that much into how the scoring worked, but I suppose it works well. Took a while to notice that you lose points for using your weapons though - the idea is still good: it's more fun if you aren't encouraged to shoot all the time.
Cons:
- A little bit of more structure to the levels wouldn't be bad. Now it was pretty much constant mayhem on screen. The only exception to this was the latter part of the last level.
