It upholds a standard.
I've played most epicllama rpgs, and I have to say, they all follow a rather strict standard at this point. Character design differs very little, if at all. The graphics don't improve much. Gameplay was almost identical to the other rpgs, and the only innovation I noticed was the introduction of a "timing" system when using magic to improve damage, or dodge attacks.
Now, with that out of the way, let's get on to the actual review! The gameplay was nothing new, essentially, graphics and battle animations seemed unchanged, honestly, from past games. Grammer usage was kind of disappointing, as there were grammatical mistakes every 5 minutes or so (I understand this, if you're still learning to speak english, but otherwise try typing up a character script on microsoft word and using spell check on your sentences when making a game). Also, having to read every line is a thing of the past nowadays. RPGs like that have gotten rather dull to many players, so investing in voice actors for your games would be great. Not only would it improve the game itself, but the storyline would stand out so much more if we could hear the feeling behind the words, rather than imagining monotone voices in our heads. You did a pretty good job here, as in the rest of your rpgs, but try expirementing a little bit next time. Rather than just using the same character design schemes as before, try using something different. Take a different angle on things. Draw them by hand, and work from there, or whatever else you can think of. You're game's graphics shouldn't all look the same, they should be improving little-by-little with every new submission.
I did enjoy this game, and I think you did a good job here, as in the others. As always, I can't wait to see your new submissions, I wish you luck. Remember to expirement, try new things!
