Promise... but a miss.

While this game has promise as a run-of-the-mill platformer, as of the time that I played it, it was so riddled with glitches that it really took away much of the fun. If glitches were part of the intention behind the game, this would get a higher score.

I didn't play with the music on, so I can't say anything about that. The sound effects are pretty standard though. Nothing special but nothing worth hitting mute over.

The controls are pretty basic. My only real complaint about them is that when you crouch, you have to press down and then down again to stand up. That's so deeply against gamers' natural reflexes that it caused many, many deaths for me. A game shouldn't be about fighting with the author's choice of controls.

With some serious debugging and attention from a programmer, this could be worth a 10. However, right now, I just can't see myself finishing it.

"Crouch controls altered so the 'down' button doesn't stand you back up."

This isn't true, pressing down when crouched stands you back up (or if you hold 'down', you crouch-stand-crouch-stand-etc.)... Personally, I would find it more intuitive if holding 'down' made you crouch, and letting go stood you back up.

This game is really good but it has some problems. It is really to easy to die! The spikes are much more bigger than they looks! I can't count how many times I died without knowing why.

Actually the hitbox of the spikes are small than the spike so you can touch them slightly without dying. I'd guess you were unlucky, thanks for playing though :)

Broken

I have one HUGE problem with this game, and it's that the wall jumping is absolutely atrocious. Half the time it doesn't want to work, and the other half of hte time it's just entirely awkward. I'm no coding wizard but I do know that it's possible to make it that when you jump off of a wall you also jump away from the wall. In this game, if you're not jumping away from the wall it also screws up your jump.

So really, this wall jumping is game breaking.

I would agree with you but having the wall jump automatically kick off rules out the option of jumping upwards, to say grab a ledge. Though it is one of the more flawed mechanisms in the game.

I think the classic control is arrow keys, no a WASD

Nope, if you played the first one you have to use WASD so in this case, WASD is classic.
