Interesting

Great animation and all and i enjoyed this film very much and its a great movie too as well but as Animate said the water is the only thing to nitpick on everything else was there the effects the right music the dragon kinda looked the same but the neon glow was good especial in the clouds

In response to DrJesus...

I believe you to be a bit harsh on the kid. In regards to the ability of Sundog here to animate i believe he is already in the top echelon of animators, this being judged against a lot of the "animation" I have seen on this site. While it is rather cartoon like in comparison to the actual movie, I don't think it is even fair to compare the two, and I don't think I need to further explain this point. As for using the movie soundtrack, well, its no better or worse than using a different person's song that he was inspired by. I think you are judging this the wrong way.

To me this represented the passion of a young author who found inspiration in the great work of art that is "How to Train Your Dragon" and made a rather good looking flash. Of course it lacks in originality, but with that type of critique you can rule out all parody/sprite animation and inspired artwork like the anime version of Kingdom Hearts I have seen on here as useless. But I think your review is useless, and it does nothing really but cut into this guy.

I personally believe this flash to be a great starting point for an "amateur" artist. Though I would love to see some really original work in the future, you don't deserve a 5/10 because you were inspired.

Kick ass music :)

I liked how you let the music be the whole soundscape :) It could be cool with some sound effects, but overall I think it worked with music that follows the action ;) This is from the soundtrack from "How to train your dragon"?

I´m not the best at animations, but I think it worked great :) It reminds mea bit of the old pokemon games for game boy, which is a good thing :)
