Reviews for "knife training"

u are so close..

by seeing this i think u have the potential to rival even the more experienced flash submitters on newgrounds good luck keep trying and finish strong

FYI: if u look closely at the blade in her hand, it kind moves like a liquid then a knife u could probably solve that by putting more detail in the knife so when it moves the viewer knows where the blade is facing.

good job by the way

nice

wonderfully animated. my only complaint is the looping. Although it does loop smoothly, technically, the loop is very noticeable, the character pauses mid motion and interrupts their flow. i think you could loop it better.

it's a nice component anyway. why not make a fighting game with your animation skills.

I like it, but there's too much motion blur.

Pros:
Is this your first flash submission ever? If is, it's really good for it being your first flash submission. The animation is fantastic. The loop is perfect, after a while I couldn't tell when the loop began and when it ended.

I think this could be a really cool flash series. A girl that is a badass fighting random people attacking her, sort of like the madness series I guess.

Cons/Recommendations:
You use WAY too much motion blur. Every movement she makes is blurred, and in my opinion that looks bad. I think you should cut down on it quite a bit.. you can still use it, but use it less. Like when she quickly moves the knife.

That knife.

That knife looks flexible.
BTW, her mask should be tighter. The random black lines on the mask make it ugly.

Gekon responds:

rock solid knife breaks on the first rib :C

This is pretty good! I know how hard animation can be, seeing as I was forced into doing animation for a startup game company that, for the three years I was "working" for them, never completed a single game nor paid me for most of my time, but all the animations I did were just animated mouse cursor loops that weren't even this long and those still practically kicked the snot outta me. I'm thinking you might've used a bit TOO much motion blur (as FinaLee said earlier), but outside of that, this is smooth as silk!
