this is quite a good game,the music is good the idea is good and the overall idea is great.
Anyway a few tips for people.
The synth tower (the red one) is very if placed at the start
You should never take fermatas (the second attack,after the bomb) for granted
keep all towers in a game beacause you can get all of the special atacks
Well with these tips you should get far.
Oh and this game is Awsome :)

i like the idea of using musical rythm, can you make a TD base on any music input? that for sure can beat volcaloi lol. and to answer the last person, if there no waiting wave to charge up special, i doubt u can beat hard ...

Okay, this is coming from someone that generally doesn't like Tower Defense games. I have to say, that I absolutely love this game. The idea is solid, using music notes and such. The design is cool and techno like, really appealing to my music senses with this list of songs.
However I have a couple problems, for one thing the notes sometimes don't appear at all. Literally I could wait waves and nothing would happen, and when something does happen all the enemies come at once and clobber my ass if I'm unprepared. For another thing the tower usage seems unbalanced. What I mean is half the time I can choose only one type of tower while the rest sit in the holding area, collecting dust......not a good thing. Especially Pink and Blue, I literally had no uses for those two towers all the way through. If you can make them they are useful, don't get me wrong but because of how expensive they are, especially blue with 70 bucks attached to it, it makes Blue completely useless.
Other then those couple things I absolutely adore this game, and I can't wait for more songs in the future.

i'm stuck on lvl 4! and it's a yellow lvl(over 20 tries and no effort)... so i think it's far too hard. btw the tutorial vid didn't give me a lot information the tutorial itself didn't
but the idea is great and it's really innovative.

I liked the game a lot but i would like to chose the song to be played from the songs stored on my computer, kinda like in audiosurf, maybe in the sequel?
